Message I have my spare set of heads from my old Z that I took some lifters out of when reconditioning my set for this new motor. Before anyone worries, this new set of heads is fine and all journal caps went on exactly as before. However, on my old set of heads, I tore down that motor (after the accident) before I knew about this little tidbit of info. One head has the journal caps mixed up and the other head is missing them altogether. Are those heads pretty much wasted hunks of metal now? I'd like to get them out of my garage but I am pretty much at a loss now.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
